Shift Towards Hope is a student-led nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting emotional literacy, resilience, and hope among children and young people. Through storytelling, community outreach, and age-appropriate conversations, Shift Towards Hope creates accessible entry points for children to understand emotions, express themselves, and build coping skills in supportive environments. University chapters partner with schools, libraries, clinics, and community organizations to deliver readings and programming that are non-clinical, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based psychological principles. All programming is designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and respectful of the diverseexperiences children bring with them.
