Grace Advocacy Program
Grace Advocacy Program’s primary purpose is to bridge the gap between UF and GRACE Marketplace, Alachua County’s largest homeless shelter. We are collaborating with GRACE staff to most efficiently serve the needs of the residents. While many organizations and individuals from UF currently volunteer with GRACE, there is no centralized hub for GRACE outreach on UF campus. This leads to organizational problems within their volunteering, including inconsistency and lack of donations. Our aim is to have all UF-GRACE outreach work through our organization, to better organize volunteering and donations and best fulfill GRACE’s needs. We will work through the divisions of Community Outreach, Campus Outreach, Finance, etc. to amplify the relationships between UF and GRACE.
