Wrestling Club at the University of Florida
The Wrestling Club at the University of Florida (UFWC) provides students of all experience levels with the opportunity to participate in wrestling in a welcoming, competitive, and team-oriented environment. Members can train and compete at a pace that best fits their experience, goals, and level of commitment. Whether a student is an experienced wrestler looking to continue competing or is new to the sport and interested in learning, UFWC offers opportunities for skill development, physical fitness, competition, and involvement within the wrestling community. Throughout the year, the club provides members with opportunities to practice, improve their wrestling skills, and compete against other wrestlers. UFWC travels to tournaments of varying competition levels throughout the year, allowing members to choose events that best match their experience and competitive goals. The club also hosts an annual wrestling event in early January, giving current and prospective members the opportunity to experience the competitive side of the sport and learn more about the club. Through practices, competitions, travel, and team activities, UFWC aims to create an inclusive environment where students can develop as wrestlers, build relationships with teammates, and continue their involvement in the sport.
