Mandarin Museum, in partnership with the University of North Florida Department of Art, Art History and Design, is thrilled to present Crown Craftsmen: A Philosophy. Made possible with funding through a High Impact Practice Grant, with additional support from the Hicks Honors College, the exhibition represents the culmination of ARH 3930: Crafting America student research, analysis and interpretation of Jacksonville-based art and artists who - as a collective - made a significant contribution to the American Studio Craft Movement during the mid-to-late 20th century. The evening will also feature the release of the Crown Craftsmen: A Philosophy Exhibition Catalog with curatorial essays by Crafting America students.
