Jacksonville Emergency Medical Auxiliary UNF Student Committee
Our mission is to serve the citizens of Duval County by providing additional trained manpower to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department (JFRD) at community events and within its stations. We aim to create meaningful opportunities for University of North Florida students to obtain CPR certifications, gain hands-on experience in emergency medicine, and develop the skills necessary to pursue careers in healthcare and public safety. In the future, we hope to expand our partnership with JFRD and the University of North Florida Police Department (UNFPD) to provide medical standby services at additional university and community events. Through these efforts, we seek to strengthen the connection between students, emergency services, and the community while helping prepare the next generation of healthcare and emergency medical professionals.
