Latin American Student Organization
To strategically plan, lead, educate, advance, sustain, and foster equity, access, equal opportunity, and inclusion throughout the university community. LASO believes that cultivating and maintaining a robust educational environment where the dignity and well-being of individuals engaged in teaching, learning, leadership, conducting business, and other pursuits should be mutually respected. We are a self-sustaining organization, everything that is planned out and done for the community is all done by the executive board of LASO and its members. The Latin American Student Organization is not an only Spanish speaking club, and Spanish speaking students are not the only students permitted into the organization. LASO does not involve itself with UNF politics or any other politics outside of UNF. The mission is to have a foundation to find common ground amongst its members.
