Transportation and Logistics Society

1. To create a relationship network for all UNF Students interested in the Transportation & Logistics (T&L) industry with the professional logistics community that will: create collaboration and exchange among students interested in T&L ; and help create relationships with logistics professionals in the community; 2. To promote growth of the T&L interest at UNF by: reaching current students and expounding its’ benefits; and by going into the community (jr high schools, high schools) and introducing younger students to the logistics profession 3. To enhance the membership with shared professional experiences by: inviting distinguished professionals in the field for speaking engagements; and, meeting local professionals in a social setting to create a professional networking experience; 4. To encourage growth through personal experience enrichment by engaging in field studies 5. To foster scholarship funding and educational enrichment for all UNF Students as well as Transportation & Logistics majors by: creating fundraisers for TLS growth; and, assisting members in finding and obtaining scholarships through professional clubs and associations (i.e. DNA, CSCMP, APICS, Propeller Club, etc.) 6. To assist in career placement of the membership by: promoting and establishing paid internships with local companies; and, creating resume books, resume web pages, and other mediums for corporate professionals to browse 7.
