Vista Gardens
Interested in being outdoors and getting your hands a bit dirty in the process? Then here's a event for you! VISTA Gardens is a 3.31 acre Hillsborough Country Garden Park that looks to preserve the native foliage and butterfly population. At this garden, volunteers would be helping out with tasks that needs to be done (planting, some weeding, composting, etc). Please be sure to bring some sunscreen and sun protection (caps/hats) in addition to water and snacks. Also be sure to wear closed toed shoes that you do not mind getting a bit dirty. Gardening gloves, tools, equipment, and guidance will be provided. If you have any questions about the event, contact service chair Kendall Lloyd at lloydk@usf.edu If you need a ride please let us know at least 3 days in advance, we cannot guarantee rides to everyone.
