USF Mock Trial will compete against collegiate mock trial programs from across the country at an invitational tournament as part of our competitive season. Throughout the tournament, our competitive teams will participate in multiple trial rounds, alternating between prosecution/plaintiff and defense roles while presenting opening statements, direct and cross-examinations, witness performances, evidentiary arguments, and closing arguments. Invitational tournaments provide our members with valuable opportunities to strengthen their trial advocacy, public speaking, critical thinking, teamwork, and case preparation skills while representing the University of South Florida in intercollegiate competition. Participation in invitational tournaments is limited to designated USF Mock Trial competitive team members, coaches, and approved organization personnel.
