Walk one of the world’s most famous pilgrimage routes while exploring leadership, history, culture, and personal growth along the way. The USF Spain: Camino de Santiago program takes a small group of students on an eight-day journey through the landscapes and historic villages of Galicia in northern Spain. Beginning with a cultural orientation in Madrid, students will hike village to village along the Camino, stay in traditional pilgrim lodges, and visit landmarks including monasteries, markets, Romanesque bridges, and the iconic Santiago Cathedral. Blending physical challenge with cultural immersion and reflection, the program offers a meaningful opportunity to experience the Camino’s lasting impact on history, identity, and personal transformation.
