American Library Association
Our mission is to provide a community for students currently enrolled in USF's Master's of Library and Information Science program. However, all USF students are welcome. We encourage anyone with an interest in libraries to join, regardless of their academic major. We facilitate and promote participation in the American Library Association and other relevant professional organizations by increasing awareness and use of their resources. We act as a forum for the exchange of information and ideas related to the library profession. We support the development of skills as well as connections, relationships, and networks amongst our members, so they are equipped to make an impact on the library profession.
