The Gamma Delta chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was installed at the University of Miami in 1947. After a hiatus, the chapter was re-chartered in 2004 and, since then, has maintained a strong presence on campus. ADPi members are well-rounded and determined women who value scholarship, service, leadership, and sisterhood. While each member has her own unique interests and strengths, ADPi members share a strong sisterhood based on genuine friendships and a commitment to each other. With over 60% of our sisters involved in on campus organizations such as President’s 100, Miami Hurricanettes, AKPsi, PhiDe, Rho Lambda, Scuba Club, and so many more, ADPi members are great representations of well-rounded women. ADPi has consistently maintained one of the highest average GPAs amongst Greek organizations, a source of pride for members. ADPis are passionate about volunteering in our community as well as at Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida, the international philanthropy of Alpha Delta Pi. Whether it involves cooking for the families or crafting with the kids, ADPis are always bringing a smile to each child’s face. In efforts to support our philanthropy, our sisters plan and hold events such as the Diamond Cup in the spring, RMH Gala and Wing Fling in the fall, which helped raise over $70,000 during the 2024 calendar year. Our sisters love attending and participating in the university’s sporting events, Panhellenic activities, movie nights in the suite, formals, walks on the Key Biscayne bridge, and so much more. It is safe to say the sisters of ADPi are compassionate, supportive, and caring women, always providing a shoulder to lean on. Not only did our members run home to ADPi on Bid Day but they also now call ADPi their home away from home.
