Alpha Mu Music Therapy Club
Alpha Mu promotes professional standards of the field of music therapy and serves as a representative body for music therapy students and non-music therapy students at the University of Miami. We cooperate with the American Music Therapy Association and related professional organizations in activities connected with the music therapy profession, as well as educate students and the community about the field of music therapy. We do service projects in the UM community and around the Miami-area, as well as provide masterclasses for members relating to the field of music therapy. Every year, we pick one non-profit organization or music therapy program to raise funds for through bake-sales and a benefit concert.
