Brothers Overcoming Negativity and Destruction, or BOND, is an organization based on the following principles: To promote male pride by self-enrichment and self-education To provide general academic, social and leadership support for minority males by incorporating all aspects of student life. To establish leadership to provide political and social change on the University of Miami campus. To promote academic achievement in the classroom as well as increase knowledge of self outside the classroom To remove all negative stereotypes associated with minority males by maintaining a positive image To serve as exemplary models for minority males on campus and in the broader community
