Carnochan Woodwind Society
1. Provide resources for students to hone their musical skills and grow their professional networks. 2. Host professional development opportunities for woodwind musicians, including but not limited to: guest artists recitals, masterclasses, panel discussions, and orchestral and wind ensemble reading sessions, as well as chamber music opportunities. 3. Empower student involvement in the performing arts outside of the Frost School of Music on an international level. 4. Engage in outreach initiatives for local K - 12 school communities for the purpose of providing a resource for developing woodwind musicians. 5. Promote woodwind music as an artistic medium by commissioning new works and establishing cross-disciplinary performance opportunities.
