Canes for Change
We are a group of graduate students at the University of Miami with a mission to address the health and educational disparities that commonly afflict our youth. We feel it is our duty to help those who are predisposed to systemic discrimination, especially those of low socioeconomic status. By bringing together our community, our goal is to provide a variety of assistances to those in need based on activities we can identify as not only safe, but constructive and educational. Past initiatives have included collaborating with the St. John Bosco Leadership Learning Center, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida, and - more recently - the Frost Museum of Science, F-Fentanyl, and Partnr305.
