IGNITE UMiami
Our goal is to create a safe space for all women to gain skills such as leadership in order to prepare for a future in politics or whatever career they may choose. Even if students don’t have an interest in pursuing a career in politics, this club will teach them how to advocate for themselves, understand the inner workings of the government, network with influential women, and get ready for graduate school. Our events include student panels and debates, sessions to work on resumes, talk about graduate school exams, prepare for interviews, and speak to lawyers, elected officials, and other powerful females. IGNITE is a movement of young women who are ready and eager to become the next generation of political leaders. We hope you’ll join us!
