Italian Association
The Italian Association is a multicultural student organization focused on fostering community among international exchange students, Italian-American students, and truly anyone interested in meeting new people. Our primary incentive is to promote Italian culture through inclusive, themed social events. With a focus on cross-cultural communication skills while building a welcoming environment for diverse student populations, we have thoughtfully provided a networking environment for individuals interested in making friendships or connections for future work endeavors, as well as providing numerous opportunities in leadership and community service to assist in our members' professional goals with a touch of Italian culture, food, and traditions . Examples of events are included but not limited to a Pummarola Pizza Social, pasta-making event, sand volleyball and gelato social, and a karaoke night. We hope to provide a home-away-from-home for those that may be looking for a cultural community of those who are like-minded, but we also hope to engage students from all walks of life in what makes us proud to call ourselves Italian!
