Reach Out and Read
The objectives of Reach Out and Read shall be to: ● Support early childhood literacy by reading to children in pediatric clinics, hospitals, and community health settings. ● Partner with local hospitals, clinics, and community organizations to enhance pediatric patient experiences. ● Educate members on the importance of early literacy, child development, and health equity. ● Provide meaningful service and professional opportunities for students interested in pediatrics, public health, education, and healthcare. ● Host meetings, training sessions, and speaker events related to pediatric health and literacy.
