UMiami Tufaan is University of Miami’s premier fusion multicultural a cappella group highlighting South Asian music and culture. Since 2009, this group has had a passion for creating a unique and captivating sound by combining South Asian melodies with Western harmonies and arrangements. “Tufaan” means “storm” in Hindi which is reflective of their high-energy performances and complex vocal arrangements. UMiami Tufaan has had the opportunity to perform and compete all over the nation, and continues to build completely original competition sets with each year.
