Aquarium Club
Hello and welcome to the UMiami Aquarium Club (UMAC)! We care for several aquariums in the Marine Science Lab in Cox Science and the Ungar faculty office. UMAC is here to help students set up successful tanks of their own by offering presentations and hosting "fish crawls" to local fish stores. Each semester we take field trips to various aquatic ecosystems, public aquariums, and other aquarium hobby-related places. We also coordinate guest lecturers and events to increase member engagement in ocean conservation, aquaculture science and the aquarium hobby. Our meetings are every other week on Thursdays at 8 pm in Cox 184!
