Volunteers Needed for 20th Anniversary of SBDAC and Goodwill SWFL's Festival of Trees
Volunteers Needed for 20th Anniversary of SBDAC and Goodwill SWFL's Festival of Trees The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center is looking for volunteers to help at their upcoming event. The Festival of Trees brings our community together to enjoy beautifully decorated trees, live entertainment, and seasonal celebrations, all while raising funds for Goodwill Southwest Florida and the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center. This event thrives because of dedicated volunteers like you. We’re looking for friendly, reliable helpers to assist with greeting guests, guiding families through the tree displays, supporting raffle ticket sales, helping with children’s activities, and keeping the event running smoothly. Help is also needed with the following: Registration Desk/Entry Table : Be the first smile guests see as they enter a winter wonderland! As a Festival of Trees Entry Table Host, you'll welcome visitors, collect admission fees, answer questions, and help set the tone for a memorable holiday experience. This important role serves as the gateway to the festival, ensuring every guest feels informed, valued, and excited to explore the beautifully decorated trees and seasonal activities. Tree Angels : Watch over the trees and their contents, make sure nobody is touching any of the trees or gifts, or playing with the decorations. Basically, the goal is to maintain a safe environment for attendees. You may be asked to take photos of people with a tree. If you cannot stand for the duration of your shift, a chair can be provided. Whether you can give a few hours or a full day, your time makes a meaningful difference. Please select the shift that works best for you using the sign-up link provided below. Please know that we are truly grateful for your support. We look forward to celebrating the season with you and appreciate your commitment to this community fundraiser! This event runs from Wednesday, December 2 through Sunday, December 6, 2026 . Many shifts are available with different service opportunities on each day of the festival. Thank you for supporting one of Fort Myers’ most beloved holiday traditions!
