SISTUHS, Incorporated
The University of Florida Chapter of SISTUHS, Incorporated is an organization dedicated to fostering the personal growth and development of African American women through leadership, service, sisterhood, and community engagement. The organization creates opportunities for members to build meaningful connections, develop leadership skills, pursue personal and professional growth, and make a positive impact on the UF campus and surrounding community. Guided by the values of Strength, Initiative, Spirituality, Tenacity, Unity, Health, and Substance, SISTUHS hosts educational programs, service initiatives, professional development opportunities, social events, and community outreach activities. Members are encouraged to take initiative, collaborate with others, and use their skills and experiences to contribute to their communities. Through these efforts, SISTUHS provides a supportive space for African American women at UF to connect, grow, serve, and develop as leaders while creating meaningful experiences and lasting impact both on campus and beyond.
