Community Outreach and Social Change

National Organization for Women at UM

The National Organization for Women at UM is dedicated to increasing awareness about gender inequality and effecting change in the University of Miami and the greater Miami communities. NOW at UM executes social action events on campus to raise awareness about women's issues, volunteers regularly with local nonprofits, holds member-focused meetings, and engages in dialogue to inform students about feminism and equality. We are so grateful to be a winner of the SOAR Awards for Social Action and Awareness at UM!
